Smoothwall - win 11 24H2 Authentication

So since the 24H2 update released me and my team have been constantly having to revert the upgrade as we keep getting users needing to re authenticat with our on-prem box, initally web proxy auth was setup with ident by location (now changed due to Maiden upgrade) so changed ident by location to core authentication. and still got the reauth required. last night switched to negotiate kerberos/NTLM and still getting reauth

 

anyone else had simular issues with this particular version of 11

We've got quite a few W11 24h2 machines and we too have an on premise smoothwall box at all out sites and no problems here (touch wood). Only thing I'd say it to make sure you're on the latest firmware on your smoothwall box.

I'd definitely look at kerberos or idex - microsoft is killing NTLM, altho negotiate should pick one of the two.

Are the clocks on the machines and the smoothwall set well?
