Hi all,

 

Anyone have any details please on installing Windows onto a macbook ? Hoping to have both macos and windows on a macbook. Macbook already has macos installed. It's a new macbook. Anyone tried or done this ?

With a new MacBook, your only answer is virtualisation and an ARM version of Windows. The two most popular packages are the aforementioned VMware Fusion and Parallels Desktop. I don't know how much development Fusion is getting these days, Parallels is a more polished and feature filled product in my experience. VirtualBox might be a possibility too, but I don't know how far along their Mac/ARM version is.

 

You won't be able to Bootcamp it, i.e. run Windows on bare metal like you used to be able to do with an Intel MacBook.
