Hello Guys

I have like 40 Mac Pcs that are connected to domain and we constantly have storage problem.

The current fix for that is to delete the users profile or reset the PCs, please is there any permanent fix for this?

I would gladly appreciate you input.

What version of MacOS? I have certainly seen where particular versions just hoover up disk space with absolutely nothing (where even OmniDiskSweeper can't find what it is) until the disk fills.

The only eventual solution was to wipe and reinstall. Fitting bigger disks would only delay the issue.

Yes, I believe the temporary fix (or at least for us) was to boot each Mac into Safe Mode which would delete a large chunk of the files it was generating, then reboot back into Normal Mode.

Sorry for reviving an old thread but just to chime in on this, depending on what management platform you use for your macs you may be able to create a rule/script that runs on startup or login to check available space remaining on the device and if it reaches your desired thresh hold it will clear the user profiles from the macs for you?
