Photocopier / Printer Engineer. SE England. Full time. £25K+ pa plus company vehicle

Job Summary

We are an established independent Managed Print Services provider working in both the educational and commercial sectors. We are looking for a Field Engineer to join our team. This role involves working on various customer sites mainly within South East England to troubleshoot and fix printer & copier hardware issues at customer sites, assisting with the instillation and IT networking of machines at new sites.

 

Responsibilities

- Attending call outs to site to fix the machines and get them running again quickly and efficiently with the least disruption to the client,

- Preparation and installation of machines to new sites.

- Initial network installation of new eqipment and re-isnstallation of existing equipment

- Solving of software / network problems related to the machines.

 

Experience

- A "can do attitude" and ability to learn new skills

- Ability to diagnose faults and repair

- Confident with dismantling and re-assemby of electro mechanical items

- Familiarity with IT networking.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis effectively.

- Excellent communication skills to liaise with team members and clients professionally.

- A proactive approach to problem-solving with a keen attention to detail is essential for success in this role.

- A full UK driving licence is essential to this role must be maintained

- An enhanced CRB/DBS check must be completed/passed and maintained

 

We will provide all you need to do the job including, OEM manufacturer training, laptop/tablet/phone and all tools as required. We also provide a company van and fuel card or we pay mileage if you use your own vehicle.
