Hi all,

We've recently employed a new Operations Manager, who is very keen to invest in training for the IT team. Actual Money.

Now you've got up off the floor....,

Has anyone any recent recommendations of training courses in the following areas, that we can all do either onsite or even off site (in works time!).

1. Cybersecurity (basics really!)

2. Managing Office 365 tenants

3. Switching (we now have a mix of Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet)

4. Any other ideas?

Thanks in advance...

When it comes to Microsoft products, stick with Microsoft courses. They are, on the whole, very good. This one might be a good starting point. QA offer large educational discounts too, so you wouldn't pay what they're quoting on the site.

Probably worth getting some Azure/Entra training if you can swing that too.

EC-Council also has the following C|CT program, where the course is free, however you have to pay for the exam ($199).

However why do you consider the level 4 and or degree apprenticeships? These, depending on the program you choose, can include the likes of the CCNA, EC-Council CEH, C&G's certifications, etc...

I've been looking into Pluralsight, as a training platform for the team. Not super cheap, but compared to the likes of QA courses etc, better value - and very useful analytics and tracking. I really like the SkillsIQ part.
