Displays for planning rooms

Hi - after many years my staff are now beginning to plan collaboratively online rather than downloading docs and emailing them

 

My head is now talking about some big screens in the SLT and planning rooms to enable easy collaboration

 

I am thinking TVs as they don't need to be interactive but wondered if anyone had any experience of these - especially ones that are easy to cast to in a windows environment

We are a surface location, so we just have surface docks on our TVs and Projectors (some also have old school Microsoft Wireless Display adaptors, although not may use them).

 

If you have a video meeting platform in place (eg: teams, zoom, etc), you could do something like a logi rally or poly studios setup so people can start adhoc meetings and present that way.

How long are they left on for. You will get screen burn on a regular TV.

Whatever brand you get, buy commercial screens, not home use TVs. Commercial screens are usually sold as 16 / 7, fine to be on 16hrs a day 7 days a week no issue.
