Hi all

Am I right in thinking most people have now moved over to 64 bit editions of Office in schools? We currently still deploy 32 bit however as we are about to reimage machines it is a good opportunity to revaluate this. Is there any major gains for actually doing it otherwise I may as well leave it be...

Yes, x64 everywhere. Ignore whatever nonsense ESS say about SIMS not supporting it fully, they accept now that schools use it so do support you.

I think 64-bit has been Microsoft's default for the Click-to-Run version for a while now. We've been using the 64-bit version since at least before the pandemic, possibly since Office 2019. We now push the Current Branch of M365 Apps via SCCM or Intune, depending on the type of device and whichever is managing it. We haven't experienced any issues relating to 32/64 bit.
