FortiGate filtering policies

Just finished having FortiGate installed and setup filtering policies (which I need to get the DSLs to review) but I wondered if anyone who uses FortiGate mind sharing how they have their web/app filtering policies.

im also planning a move from smoothwall to fortigate devices this summer so would also be interested in this althought we are also going to implement lightspeed as well.

Very different compared to smoothwall.

 

Slowly getting there - although we have just started with a strange issue with edge and office 365/One Drive running slow and freezing - not sure it down to some changes I’ve made or something else.

 

I’ve raised a helpdesk ticket asking them to take a look at the settings etc.

I've seen odd things happen on Fortigates and Palo Altos with 365 when External Lists have not been updated recently. Found EDL Manager to be up to date and reasonably priced for this, feed these in and whenever MS change something upstream your filter adds these in automagically.
