Role Overview

Working closely with the IT Director, your focus will be on the continuous enhancement of the institution's technical infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Although IT support services are managed by an outsourced team, this role is dedicated primarily to systems development.

Responsibilities

 

• Management of IT services and systems
  
• 3rd line technical support for all IT systems and services
  
• Administration and maintenance of Active Directory, wired and wireless network infrastructure, and security controls
  
• PowerShell scripting and systems automation
  
• Backup and disaster recovery management
  
• Create and maintain system documentation
  
• Assist with staff and student training, including the creation of training materials
  

Requirements

 

• Degree or relevant technical qualifications
  
• Enterprise IT experience
  
• Microsoft Azure, Intune, and associated cloud technologies
  
• Windows Server/Active Directory technologies
  
• DNS, DHCP, NPS/Radius systems
  
• PowerShell and systems automation
  
• SCCM (System Centre Configuration Manager)
  
• Networking and VLAN configuration
  
• Enterprise firewall technologies
  
• Enterprise Wi-Fi environments
  
• Excellent communication skills in English
  
• Experience in educational IT (desirable)
  
• Cloud migration (desirable)
  
• 1:1 Device schemes (desirable)
  
• SQL database administration (desirable)
  
• iSAMS (desirable)
  
• JAMF School/Pro for Apple configuration (desirable)
