Not Able to Upload Coursework through WJEC Surpass Portal

We are unable to upload the coursework as an error message pops up.

 

I have checked and all of the links that support have asked for and they are all allowed:

If anyone can help that would be super useful as the Support team is non-existent

What is the error message exactly? Are you logging into the actual site but cant upload the work or can you not get into the site at all?

 

There are usually file size limits on each upload e.g. the files must be less than 500MB.

There are also file type conditions that can give errors e.g. it needs to be a mp4 file not a MOV file or it needs to be an MP3 file not a WAV file etc.

This error happens when we go to https://wjecdhdelivery.surpass.com/ add the keycode to it and the error message " An error has occurred during test item loading. Please contact your invigilator." which WJEC have been useless for.

There has been issues with the portal. We had an issue where they claimed that half the work was missing for the sample they required. If you give them a ring and explain the situation they should be able to tell you what to do.

Edit: I just realised you have said there support is not being helpful but it is an issue with them.

Thanks rossibIT I got in touch with the customer support and they are saying it might be our web filter blocking something even though we have check and all the links they have given me are whitelisted so I've now gone to our web filter provider and hoping they will be able to fix it.

I don't suppose anyone knows where you're supposed to upload marked/signed PDF evidence of performance coursework, on WJEC/Surpass?

 

Our E/O is being presented with screen asking for marks (multiple choice or question/answer) in CSV format, but the work they've done is a screenplay performance and written analysis, marked/annotated by our drama teachers and produced into PDF....

Usually on the upload screen on each candidate somewhere around there it list exactly what format they want it in and what file size limit there is.

 

E.g. must be MP4 format for videos and say 100MB per file

Or must be PDF for documents?

 

Out of interest how come you guys and gals in engerland are doing WJEC stuff?

When I have helped the teacher in doing this they have inputted the marks to the exam board then the exam board have requested a sample of the students work. Depending on the number of students entered will depend on how many samples they require. Once you have your students you will then be able to upload your PDF evidence to the exam board.
