Vestel IFE panels - accpunt/panel management software

We have inherited a number of IFE boards. These came to us "as is" and work well enough as interactive panels plugged into laptops. However, these boards apparently support account management software. The vestel website seems to be hell bent on giving me the least possible information on anything . Have anyone used the vestel AMS? Im guessing it is as useless as the optoma OMS system (given the lack of information) but i'm a curious person and would like to see what it does.

 

how can you get to this Vestel cloud management system?

Bit of a necro - but I wouldn't bother. To be honest the Vestel boards are utter crap - i wouldn't recommend Vestel to anyone.. We had a few fitted over summer & they are AWFUL. (Vestel IFE652-2HU to be specific)

 

No feature to auto-on to an active source channel, only the home screen. There is an option in the settings to auto source switch, but it just doesn't work.

 

Touch function is buggy - infact one board the touch stopped working all together out of nowhere. Had to have that swapped out under warranty. Not a good start.

 

The bezels on the boards are HUGE - look like they are from 10 years ago.

 

Buy cheap, buy twice.
