Sharp Screens

Anyone use Sharp interactive screen? If so how do you find them?

We replaced our Smart IWBs with Sharp screens two years ago.

I don’t know the model, we had the basic 65” panel

 

We lease direct from Sharp

 

We already had our copiers from Sharp and have had very good service from them, we had a demo of a screen and met all our requirements.

 

Also, our account manager arranged for it to written into our contract that at the end of lease ownership is transferred to the school at no cost.

I installed some PN-65SC1 at a school back in 2018 I wasnt blown away by it but it was well built, it was heavy so you need to be mindful where you are installing.

 

Not up to date with the current range but they were installed in KS1 about 1ft off the ground so kids could use them, never had any issues in the 2 years before I left. Not sure on costings but must have been reasonable as they bought 3 of them.

We have 3 different sets from Sharp, all solid, no issues whatsoever.

Just be aware Sharp have merged with NEC - I'm due to see them at a conference end of April so will be taking a close eye at their offerings!
