eSports - Rocket League unable to connect to servers

We have just had a new Smoothwall installed, its blocking the Rocket League game, screenshot below.

Nothing comes up in the real time reports to block, we have a web filter policy -

Who - Students, (and everyone for testing)

What - Rocket League, Epic Games

Where - Everywhere

When - Always

Action - Allow

Has anyone else come across this?

These online games always have a fair bit of firewalling requirement so you'll need a fair few ports opened and url's alowed.

 

Our LA have refuse dot unblock these and so schools doing the esports qualification have had to get their own internet links in just for the esports.

We have the same issue, allowed everything we can think of through Smoothwall but it refuses to connect. The second we bypass the proxy though it all works fine so it's not a firewall issue.

you will need all ssl filtering off for epic stuff too i suspect

Ports and IP addresses document attached from British eSports for the popular games including Rocket League. Might help with your filtering and firewall configurations.
