Anyone using the TPLink Omada kit, specifically the router?

 

I've recently installed it along with some AP's and the controller and its absolutely spot on, the router has the features but is lacking in some areas but still better than an ISP router.

 

The only issue so far I have is with putting static routes on to send traffic to a specific external IP wondered if anyone had tried it?

I have seen it before but it was more for the home and small business use but Unifi ended up getting tasked with that.

I did see their controller was very similar to the old Unifi Network app.

For home use yes.

 

Put 2x AP's and the controller in during Xmas (busman's holiday eh?) and worked fine since then.

 

For a PoE controller, it's impressive and rock-solid.

 

I know TP-Link can be the butt-end of jokes, but most stuff I find is pretty solid to be fair.

To be honest I've used various bits of their stuff and always been impressed with it.

 

It's defiantly at the lower end market but fits the bill ideally for what I needed it for. Just a few things that are not as easy as they should be but I suppose you get what you pay for, not the end of the world was just pushing it to its limits I suppose!

Jus wondering if you meant some form of Policy based routing? i.e. traffic from here goes there.
