Hi all,

We've recently gone to 1-1 iPads for one year group, now that we've got this up and running I've noticed Apple Classroom is only setup for when those students are logged into a shared device.

Does anyone know how I can add their individual devices so that they can be seen in Apple Classroom via JAMF. Can't seem to find a way...

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks,

Tom

There are a number of ways to configure Apple Classroom...

You have been using Apple Classroom via ASM, which is configured in classes via Apple School Manager and students are required to log into the shared iPad for the teacher to see them, whilst users are managed via MDM Apple Classroom set up bypasses this completely.

For you to use the Jamf MDM to do this each user needs an account with their name and the device attached to their name, users will need their account set up in ASM and classes which lets you import these straight into Jamf School ( I assume you are using this)

Link below to set this up..
