[ms office - o365] Cannot add students to Teams

Hello, since the new Teams came out, when Teachers who are the owner of a Team try to add students to the Team, the pupils names don't start to appear in the drop down. If they type in the full students name, the message "we could not fine a match" comes up. I created a new test Microsoft 365 account, added that as an owner, of the Team and that account works OK, and the names appear (see attachment). So it looks only to affect users who had used the earlier version of Teams. Has anyone else come across this? Thanks Andrew

Are the accounts that you can't add visible in the GAL?

Hi, no the students don't appear in the GAL in Outlook, or in Outlook on Microsoft 365. Though for the test teacher account I've set up, this user can see all the pupils in Teams, so can add them to the Team. Thanks Andrew
