How long until you upgrade to WiFi 6?

We updated to a Cambium Wifi 6 system last year. They only run on the 1gb uplinks at the moment so when we do the network upgrade, may look at using the 2.5gb ports instead to squeeze out more worth

 

Out of interest, What switches are you currently running?

We use Cambium cnMatrix EX2016M-P Switches with our Cambium APs, great switches with 2.5GbE ports and one management platform if you already have the APs.

Cambium Networks CnMatrix EX2016M-P. Definitely a fantastic switch. This range also has 10Gbit uplink SFP ports. Only downside there are only 6 x 2.5Gbit ports which means you could need quite a number of PoE switches if you have a load of APs. XV2-2 wifi6 are a fantastic match for these switches. CnMaestro to setup and Manage is also free. No licensing.
