Apple School Manager VPP Credit Issue

I am trying to purchase a paid app in Apple School Manager to deploy via Jamf Pro. I have enough VPP credit for the app, however when I click on pay, I get a message saying 'before you can make purchases you must update your billing information. I have checked and there is an expired card on there that needs updating. Is there anyway to make the purchase using the VPP credit without having to update the payment information and having to enter card details?

If it is a free app then just delete the expired card until you can add a new one.

I have resolved it by selecting None in the payment options, hasn't forced me to then add card, and successfully made the VPP credit purchase. Edited January 31, 2024 by loxford01
