We’re looking into whether there is suitable software that we can use for inducting new staff.

Would need to be able to do things like:

Ability to sign documents ( e.g policies) to say they have read and understood

A road map ( type of thing ) that tracks how far down the induction process they have completed

Things like - DBS checked, badge printed , device issued , school tour done , safeguarding training completed etc etc etc

Ideally something compatible with Google Workspace and also works on iPads / mobile devices

Thanks in advance

Do you already have anything that can create workflows? Does your HR system not include anything?

We are slowly building a process through our helpdesk, but once our new HR system goes live we will probably use that as it has the functionality to engage staff before they are onsite and employed.

Google AppSheet would allow you to build something that holds the information in a suitably structured way. It may depend on whether you're wanting those things displayed for the inductee, or whether it's really just for HR office use.

I can take a look at that - ideally we would like something that can be e-signed to say it's been completed - something that takes the inductee through e.g policies or watch videos and lets them move on once they have completed that step , something that tracks progress e.g 7 steps of out 15 completed , produces digital certificates for completed module where required, ability to add links to docs/ folders on Google drive - the more I'm writing this the more I'm thinking I looking at some sort of training package maybe?

Any thoughts /ideas or even terms to google much appreciated :-)

Someone mentioned a product called iAMCompliant a while ago which might do the things you are looking for? It looks to be a compliance system which includes the abiltiy to share policy documents, training videos, etc with staff together with asset and contractor management. I've not really looked at it properly - but it might be worth a peek?
