Jaan Posted December 14, 2023 Posted December 14, 2023 Hi all, Anybody using Sage Intacct? https://www.sage.com/en-gb/sage-business-cloud/intacct/ We've been looking at moving away from sage, and the Business manager has contacted me to say that sage have just offered her "Sage Intacct". She said the guy confirmed that it is 100% Web based....... Does anybody know if this is web hosted like sage 200 is, or if it just needs a browser? Like here's a Chromebook have at it. Looking at their site, there's not much technical stuff i can find. We're also a Bromcom School, so i like the idea of that. Not sure if that's even 100% web browser based at this point either! Cheers all
TechMonkey Posted December 14, 2023 Posted December 14, 2023 We looked at it last year. Wasn't very feature rich and didn't seem to tie in with a lot of things. It was also expensive, most expensive of the 4 options we looked at. Lots of promises of things to come or suggestions the data was taken out and put into a third party solution. Yes it was web based.
Skewiff Posted October 2, 2025 Posted October 2, 2025 Just following up on this post, is anyone using this now, our FD is looking at options and like the latest version of Intacct.
CrootUK Posted October 2, 2025 Posted October 2, 2025 Web Ui is okay, its email security is a real shame. We had to register an entirely seperate domain for it.

We haven't with ours and (to the best of my knowledge) it is working ok. (DMARC etc all setup on M365)
CrootUK Posted October 5, 2025 Posted October 5, 2025 Adding there spf record in etc allows you to spoof emails from anyone in your org using there platform. They need to support proper email authentication not fundamentally spoofing there customers.
