Morning all,

What are you charging your users for printing?

In our last IT meeting, it was discussed that a number of departments have highlighted concerns with regards to the cost of printing. Admittedly, we have increased prices. But this is due to the fact we've taken on a new lease and well, everything has gone up in price.

Our current cost per click cost to the school is:

(Cheapest) Repro-----> ALL in ones ------> Mono Printers ------> Colour capable printers (Most expensive)

our pricing to our users is as below is as below:

Repro

Cheers all

Those prices do seem very high. We charge 1p per mono and 3p per colour. But, we don't take into account the lease in the calculations. We cover only the cost of the toner and paper.

And even at 1p/3p, that leaves some wiggle room for us.

Whatever you're charging them, show the price in pence not pounds, so confusing

Those are the boxes in PaperCut - that's how they get displayed in the admin panel there. Users see the totals on screen, not the per-print cost etc...

Sorry yes those prices include the lease, cost per click and paper. I didn't calculate any of that BTW, i just enter the figures into papercut. Our Finance manager was curious what others are charging.
