Don't buy Acer Monitors

I'm really just grumbling but in 2021 I bought 32 Acer NITRO XV2 monitors. In the last 2 months I've had (so 18 months old) 6 fail on me some are developing black lines others are outright loosing their picture and will not display.

 

The return process is via a form on the Acer website is buggy and sometimes the turn around is 2 months to get a repair, now they claim they are out of warranty.

 

Just annoyed at myself for not sticking to form and buying a business class monitor.

 

btw stock for monitors and prices in 2021 were weird at the time and more basic VA or IPS monitors (with height adjust) were quite expensive. So the cost (£133 ea) and time availability of these justified the purchase.
