[22h2] New File Explorer

Hi All,

 

Anyone had any luck customising the new File Explorer? It seems a few tricks that used to work, no longer do - so they can see hidden files, file extensions, map drives etc.

 

It also seems 'rotating' a picture using it corrupts the original image and spits out a corrupted clone (boo)

 

This atm is the only thing stopping me from rolling out to students - should I lock it down a more 'old fashioned' way? I'm even considering bringing back 'right click context menus' if I can....

The only machines new enough for W11 at my schools are "staff" ones, so not that locked down.

 

Not had a problem with "rotate" though. I just tried it on my machine and it was fine, but went to 23H2 last week. Pretty sure it was OK on 22H2, as well.
