maxrebo Posted November 2, 2023 Posted November 2, 2023 Hi, I need to migrate my VMs from our old servers to two new Hyper V Hosts I could do with some help migrating my first one and fault finding a few errors I've run into Both source host and destination host have the Live migration enabled Storage of the source VM is shared so I will be attempting to just move the VM. Source and destination Host are both Domain joined. When I move the VM I receive a "The credentials supplied to the package were not recognised (0x8009030D)" the Hyper V management service is running on both. What credentials is it looking for and where would I input these? Thanks in advance

Oaktech Posted November 2, 2023 Posted November 2, 2023 Check the location of the VHD... I had one the other day where two machines were clustered with shared storage, but the location of the VHD was in the M drive which is only mapped to the clustered storage on one node at a time. Moving it generated a similar error. had to shutdown the machine, remove the VHD and re-add it mapped to the c:\cluster storage shortcut location that is shared by all nodes.
