EeboBebo Posted September 18, 2023 Posted September 18, 2023 I’ve installed Sibelius on a Windows PC with Keystation keyboard connected but there seems to be a slight lag between pressing the keys on the Keystation keyboard and the sound coming from the Computer. Does anyone know how to resolve this?
Chris_Cook Posted September 18, 2023 Posted September 18, 2023 Have you installed the Sibelius sounds package? Also try changing the audio output to wasapi. I've been looking at this today for our new music suite, so I'll try and do some documents and post back here as getting to those settings wasn't obvious for me. Once you have the sounds package installed you should be able to change the sound config on the play tab. But there are some other settings that are a bit hidden.

Tom_M Posted September 19, 2023 Posted September 19, 2023 Check the Buffer Size within the Playback Engine options.
Davit2005 Posted September 19, 2023 Posted September 19, 2023 (edited) What sound card have you got. Is it ASIO? https://help.ableton.com/hc/en-us/articles/360003149240-Using-an-ASIO-audio-driver-on-Windows I remember having this issue 10 years back with Sibelius. You could try ASIO4ALL https://www.sweetwater.com/sweetcare/articles/installing-and-using-asio4all-for-windows/ Edited September 19, 2023 by Davit2005
Chris_Cook Posted September 19, 2023 Posted September 19, 2023 Thanks. Is this the package that’s 22gb in size? That sounds about right. It used to be on 4 DVDs.
