Local Profiles

Hi so I have moved over to using local profiles from roaming profiles. I have configured gpo to deleted local profiles after 2 days. My question is.. this will create a new profile each time the users login and slow them down. I have not created any default local profiles etc, do anything?

2 days possibly a bit keen. Two weeks is more like it.

 

One 2 days have passed, yes it will build a new profile based off the Default. Can be slower, but shouldn’t be much if you have things set up well.

I’m sure you’ve already thought of this, but make sure it’s only applied to shared machines in classrooms, otherwise your office staff will come back to blank profiles after they come back to work after the weekend and/or holidays.
