Teams Groups Archving

Hi all,

 

Im trying to do 2 things

 

I need to archive about 2000 teams but not sure how to do this

 

I also need at add 'arch0823' to each of the teams before archived

 

Can anyone help with this please?

Can you all please ensure any threads you create have titles that reflect the problem the poster needs help with. Have had to edit a few one-word thread titles this past few days.

Not exactly an answer to your problem but I needed to delete a lot of Teams recently so I did it by exporting data from Teams Admin Centre into Excel\CSV then used a CONCATENATE formula to populate the PowerShell command to delete each one.

 

Maybe you you could do something similar to change Team names before you archive, then change the command in the formula for one that archives the Teams?

 

Doesn't a prefix of some sort get added when Teams are archived anyway?
