Hi all,

We are using the smoothwall source exceptions to bypass the filtering for a bunch of things around our place, like translator pens, home assistant devices, raspberry pi's and some heating controllers. At first, the list was easy to manage but after a while, having 100 records in one long list is getting out of hand. Is it possible to group them in any way? For example:

Raspberry Pi's

xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

Home Assistant Devices

xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

I tried doing a location group with the IP's included and then making a policy as "do not inspect" but that isn't working. Any ideas?

Cheers

try using a different proxy policy ie web proxy>ident by location. create a policy for the location .

might need to tinker and test depending on config of box

I think you can do a range so your Raspberry Pis could be in the list as x.x.x.1-x.x.x.10 and your Home Assistant Devices could be x.x.x.11-x.x.x.20 etc

Hover of the Search/Add Entries box and a popup should show you what can be entered.
