Hi everyone, as a Microsoft house we are exploring how we can use Chrome OS Flex on our older hardware.

We have SSO all configured pushing of extension etc all set up… but I can’t for the life of me find anything where I can centrally control the taskbar and the launcher / shelf… ideally I want it to have what I want in there…

 

Is there a way to do that or am I missing something ?

You have to find what the extension ID is for the app you want to remove, then push for removal. That should remove whatever the default apps. We are doing the same with chrome os then just putting web apps for Microsoft on the task bar.
