KWestos Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 Hi Is there a way in policies to redirect a webpage, for example. If a kid opens google, the page automatically redirects to another page. Is this possible?
Michael Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 Google Hosts file However, if you have a proxy this won't work (just so you know)
Hightower Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 But if you have a proxy there will be some way of doing something similar
Guest monkeyx Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 If you use squid as your internet proxy, I know that it supports redirection. But never used the functions osrry. Another way would be setup your own dns entries for the web site so that it went somewhere else instead ? PS did you pick same Avatar as me or is part of the crash/rebuild ?
sparkeh Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 ISA supports this as well. If you happen to use ISA, make a web chaining rule that redirects sites to another site of your choosing.
