Google Education- Under 18s won't be able to access third-party apps unless allowed

Not sure if this has been posted already but I've not seen it and I never received an email from Google about it.

 

By default, third party apps will be denied for users marked as under 18. That will mean all apps and services you haven't already set as Trusted will immediately stop working

Yep, I thought I was going mad trying to find this. Also, the setting which the guided experiance changes under Security > Access and data control > API Controls doesn't appear:

1.Don’t allow users to access any third-party apps.

2.Allow users to access third-party apps that only ask for Google Sign in info.

 

 

Edit: I guess it does say it's rolling out over the coming weeks but I can't see a date for when this article was made/posted. I know it took a few weeks for UK to get access to Practice Sets in Google Classroom so maybe we need to wait a bit longer.
