kennysarmy Posted April 26, 2023 Posted April 26, 2023 My eyes are terrible so looking for something I can use to remote in to school from home and replace the little netbook I've been using :/ That will probably be pretty much it's only use, so doesn't need to be anything special spec. wise.
Norphy Posted April 26, 2023 Posted April 26, 2023 What's your budget? Any hard and fast requirements around the likes of weight, screen resolution etc? Anything that you'd like but isn't essential?
kennysarmy Posted April 26, 2023 Author Posted April 26, 2023 Windows only or would a Chromebook be an option? Think Windows would be better for me.
kennysarmy Posted April 26, 2023 Author Posted April 26, 2023 What's your budget? Any hard and fast requirements around the likes of weight, screen resolution etc? Anything that you'd like but isn't essential? A big screen so I am not struggling to read the font. Apart from that don't need anything special, so hoping to get something reasonably cheap. Don't mind if it's a bit weighty and it will just live at home.
Norphy Posted April 26, 2023 Posted April 26, 2023 Something like this? 17" laptops seem to be relatively rare these days. This one seems to balance spec with price reasonably well. Anything cheaper than that and you're getting anemic CPUs and/or rubbish screens. 1
Alex0x7F Posted April 26, 2023 Posted April 26, 2023 We've had a bunch of Lenovo 15 G3's have served us well. The 17" version here may be a good option.
