Recommend me a cheap 17" laptop

My eyes are terrible so looking for something I can use to remote in to school from home and replace the little netbook I've been using :/

 

That will probably be pretty much it's only use, so doesn't need to be anything special spec. wise.

What's your budget? Any hard and fast requirements around the likes of weight, screen resolution etc? Anything that you'd like but isn't essential?

A big screen so I am not struggling to read the font.

 

Apart from that don't need anything special, so hoping to get something reasonably cheap.

 

Don't mind if it's a bit weighty and it will just live at home.

17" laptops seem to be relatively rare these days. This one seems to balance spec with price reasonably well. Anything cheaper than that and you're getting anemic CPUs and/or rubbish screens.

We've had a bunch of Lenovo 15 G3's have served us well. The 17" version here may be a good option.
