Smart Notebook Activation

Hi all

 

I look after one primary school, they have smartnotebook version 17. The key seems valid for one year when purchased, but when i install it seems to be activating ok? Says activated etc. Am i missing something? will it stop working after 1 month or something? i would've thought activation would've failed as key was valid for specific date range?

 

I have been telling school that the key has expired so need to update and now i see this! so just bit curious why is working

If you open smart notebook you can manage the license and it should show you how many days left you have, or just use smart notebook basic on version 22 which is free, or your code might even work with that if you're lucky.

Doesn't notebook sort-of-automagically-activate if your plugged into a modern Smartboard?

They changed their business model a while ago.

 

We have noticed that even though the licence has expired, we still get the functions that are required.

The downside is that unless you are plugged into a SMART screen, we get a watermark on the slides.
