IP settings are pointing to the correct servers - Tried clearing IP config, setting IP config to static as appose to DHCP, still no joy. Anyone got any ideas how to clear this? Thanks
Davit2005 Posted February 8, 2023 Posted February 8, 2023 The stupid MS NLASVC which bases it's knowledge on been able to talk to external MS servers. There are ways around it with registry hacks. Sometimes I've found a simple ping of 8.8.8.8 resolves the issue.

georgeescott Posted February 8, 2023 Posted February 8, 2023 https://superuser.com/questions/1618647/connected-to-the-internet-but-windows-10-says-no-internet the WindowsSpyBlocker tool mentioned in this article is helpful in finding out why Windows wasn’t detecting the connection, as an alternative to turning it off
Davit2005 Posted February 9, 2023 Posted February 9, 2023 There is an option to tell Windows what to use for the connectivity check rather than turning NLASVC off all by the registry hack I'm sure. 1

Yep, there is! HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ CurrentControlSet\Services\NlaSvc\Parameters\Internet Although I think Microsoft’s IPv6 Web probe, IPv4 and IPv6 DNS Probes are down as they don’t even work when I’m on my home internet connection, yet if I set the probes to Firefox/OpenDNS probes, it works perfectly fine. I’ve logged a ticket with MS to see if this is broken on their end. 1
