Google Admin - No one knows how to access!

Hi All,

 

Have an issue at my new job where i want to take control of our Google environment (we're 365 but want to get hold of the google accounts etc.)

 

The issue is, no one knows who has the admin access, i've asked the obvious people but they don't! I've emailed google about getting access to which i got a 'Dear John'.

 

Any idea how i can take control of our tennant?

Not sure if this is correct information or not, but I'm sure that if you contact a Google Licensing reseller they can find out on your behalf.

 

Like I said though, not sure if this is true or not.

If email is via 365, could you carry out a search for any google workspace related emails. Could point you in the right direction of the account getting admin alerts etc?

Original admin left company and no one has access

 

If you can contact the original admin, ask them for the admin username and password. If you can't contact them, you need to fill out the Google Admin console login issues form. You'll be asked to prove that you own a user account and your domain. After you gain access to the account, we recommend adding recovery options to the account.

If you can find any emails from [email protected] being delivered to 365 recipients, that may indicate that the recipient is a super-admin.
