I don't know if it affects other STONE laptop models. Stone have sent some additional retaining screws and seating compound and did offer to send an engineer... You might want to check your STONE laptops... Cheers.

You might want to check your STONE laptops... Cheers. We had the same issue. It appears a batch of Stone laptops were made where they forgot to put locktight on the screws
richard.thomas Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 We had some that lost a few screws. Think they were older than that though. In fairness it's the only problem we've had with stone's stuff. Anytime somethings goes wrong there's an engineer here the next day (sometimes same day!). We've just ordered a load more stuff from stone aswell. So clearly not enough to put me off the company
