EssentialRug Posted November 30, 2022 Posted November 30, 2022 Hi all, Seeing an issue that's only started today whereby users who are signed into Chrome are seeing the 'Verify that it's you' page on a loop. They click to verify, the page thinks, and then the verify page comes up again. Just wondering if anyone else has seen this? We've tried all the usual stuff...cache cleared, tried in an incognito window etc, but still no good. Not sure if it's related, but we SSO through Azure...this has been in place for quite a while now though and has been working seamlessly so far... Any advice/input would be much appreciated! Thanks!

EssentialRug Posted November 30, 2022 Author Posted November 30, 2022 This happened to us a few weeks ago and it only stopped fully when Chrome updated next Hmm Chrome has been updated on the device and is the most recent version, but still seeing the issue...
Oaktech Posted November 30, 2022 Posted November 30, 2022 That is curious, and probably not the same issue despite the same symptoms. Might be worth an email to Google support.

EssentialRug Posted January 4, 2023 Author Posted January 4, 2023 We are still seeing this issue with a select few users. After a lengthy wait from Google Support they have verified it is an issue their end. "I appreciate your patience, I have raised a consult to the product engineering team and upon investigating the issue they have confirmed that it is a known issue and our product engineering team is working on it. Please be rest assured once I get any more information from the team we will update you as soon as possible."
EssentialRug Posted February 22, 2023 Author Posted February 22, 2023 An update from Google on this one for anyone following/having similar issues. Thank you for taking time to respond to this case. As there is an on going issue workaround with this issue, I would recommend you to perform this workaround at your end. Next Steps : 1.Advise the customer to turn off change password at next login setting for the users to bypass this issue. 2.Routing to correct component to further investigate why this is happening on the customer's end. This sorted the issue for us, but wary that this is only being referenced as a 'workaround'. Whatever the issue seems to be, they do seem to be taking an extremely long time fixing it. 1
EssentialRug Posted February 23, 2023 Author Posted February 23, 2023 Happened multiple times today Did the workaround above work for you?
mowgli82 Posted June 12, 2023 Posted June 12, 2023 This is still an issue. Thank goodness I found this today, been driving me mad.
jnfarmer Posted September 1, 2023 Posted September 1, 2023 Sorry to resurrect this thread but we're having this issues as well. Yes, turning off the change password at next login flag works, but we've got to do this with 1,000 users. Is it possible to disable on bulk? Can't see a way to do this in Google Workspace, maybe Gam? Or even better, have it disabled as part of the provisioning process.
