Dell 3110 Chromebook - Screen damage

We bought lots of Dell 3110 Chromebooks over the summer, and unfortunately already 2 have suffered screen damage. It appears to be due to impact damage, so not covered by warranty.

 

I am finding it difficult finding a source / supplier for replacement screens - has anyone had any success? We have a couple of Dell 3100 Chromebooks with the same issue as well but I think the screens are slightly different?

Give https://cbccomputers.com/ an email. Whenever I've been stuck on a part they've always come up trumps. Other than that, is there any part number on the back of the actual LCD? Sometimes have stickers on them.

Ebay sometimes has faulty ones with good screens

Dell can send out a replacement screen. You need to go through their support process, which is a bit of a pain, but eventually they can invoice the school for a new screen and send it out.

 

EDIT, should add, doing it through Dell means the screen will be an exact correct version for the Chromebook
