Hi all,

Has anyone experienced Google Chrome randomly losing the top half of the screen including the menu bar? It just goes black.

Only way I've found as a fix right now if to press F11 to go full screen and then F11 again to return to Window. This removes the black and we are back in business.

It is getting fustrating. Not sure what is causing it. Seems very random.

Thankyou.

Yes we've had this too but it's quite uncommon. Seems to effect 4:3 monitors for us mostly and as you say the only fix is to go into full screen and out again. Ours are running intel graphics too, I'll take a stab at updating the drivers today and see how it goes.

We experienced this and found it was caused by an out dated Intel Graphics Driver but this was a couple years ago

Exactly the same here, Dell machine, Intel UHD 630 graphics. That was a few years ago though. The first time it stopped was version 25.20.100.6617 for me, I keep note for obvious reasons :)

We've had this before too. As others said, it was an outdated driver. We got rid of it by changing the display settings and then reverting it (the user felt comfortable doing this themself as opposed to pressing f11)
