Haptic Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 I need a wired USB print server, can anyone give me a recomendation? Ta. Hiya Ozzy, We have a Linksys 10/100 usb print server available for £37.90+vat Free Next Business Day Delivery Model No: PSUS4-UK Let me know if this will help , Simon
OutToLunch Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 Model No: PSUS4-UK I've found these to be a little quirky - very reliable once you have them up and running nicely, but a little odd to get them going. 3 or 4 different ways of adding printers via them and only 1 seems to behave nicely - the instructions are a bit cryptic.
contink Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 Which printers are you intending to use them for and are they for printers or multifunctionals? If you want Canons, then look for Silex/pricom units... For multifunctionals you could do worse than look for a USB server like the one from Belkin which in some ways is often cheaper. I wouldn't touch D links anymore though for love nor money... They caused me more headaches than any other tat out there.
