That's a good idea, there were a lot of XP based tablets like that back in the day. Toshiba also had one, but that does look like a Dell grey.

 

I'll have to post an update pic tomorrow, as its at another school. You're not far off though.

Microsoft licensing binder?

 

Close, it's Microsoft, but a lot more exciting than that. When these used to drop it was like my being 13 again and 2000AD dropping through the letter box on a Saturday!

Is it the binder for the software Microsoft used to do on a subscription for I cant remember the name of?

 

I'll give you that. It's the binder you got with a TechNet subscription For a measly £100-ish per annum you got a whole raft of software goodies land each month, as well as (IIRC) three free support calls to Microsoft.

Not only did this include 'trial' versions of all their software, but you got beta's and lots of other tools and service packs too. It also came with full licence keys for everything!

It was an essential spend back in the day. They finally killed it (after moving it to an online version only) in 2013. It is sadly missed.
