Email address display name

Nice easy one for once... just wondered what people do for email display name formats (particularly in larger trusts).

 

We are currently using first initial, surname (ie. J Doe) but wondered if others were doing similar, or have opted for full name.

Forname and Surname followed by the initials of the users base school in brackets e.g John Smith (SCH)

 

We also have the job title field populated so you can see the role

We have Surname, Firstname and use G-Mail for our emails. We used to use Firstname Surname when we used Office365 but since joining the MAT, we are nows using Surname, Firstname.

W have Firstname.Surname for staff, initial.surname for students.

 

All sites have their own sub domain so that keeps clashes to a minimum.

We’re in a trust, with staff and students sometime sharing the same name, so use the following: surname, first name (school letters) staff / student
