Upgrade Centos6 to Oracle Linux

Hiya all,

 

We have a few boxes that host our older Moodles that we keep for a few years. Our older ones are running Centos6 and we need to move them to a supported platform. We have chosen Oracle Linux, and upgrading our other boxes has been quite straightforward with Oracle's simple bash script. However, using the script on Centos6 boxes hasn't worked, though 6 is supported by the script. We have ended up with Oracle Linux 6.10. The issues seem to revolve around the repos so I'm wondering what I need to do beforehand to sort the repos out before running the script and also now how do I go about taking OL6.10 up to v.8?
