Morning all,

Sorry for yet another "recommend me wireless" but wanted some views on Cambium? I can see from looking around Edugeek there are mixed reviews ranging from doesn't work to rock solid so wondered if anyone using it can give your views?

I'm currently a Meraki school however their renewal costs almost seem like they won't be in the running. I'm awaiting Aruba and Extreme quotes but the Cambium quote I got last night was exactly where I thought the costs should come in (40% cheaper AP than Meraki and no licence cost).

I'm a simple man who just wants things to work. Just a guest network and a couple of SSID's (maybe 3 from time to time if I'm feeling fancy).

Thanks all

We have cambium over 8 sites and works well. Few issues initially, but generally very good. Once the initial setup is done, enter the serial number of the AP and job done. Hardware has had no issues over the last 2 years.

We moved from Ruckus due to cost.

Had it installed for 2 years hear, after couple of niggle initial issues to do with a firmware upgrade so that the management vlan was detected and allowed out instead of the wireless vlans. I think that was more to do with our ten year old cisco switches being out of date.

All sorted 52 waps installed in a day and a half not really touched them since
