[sims] Transfer results (aspects) - can't do it if attached to Result Set?

I need to transfer results from one aspect to a new aspect. I will then be deleting the old aspect. I thought I could do this but I cannot as the results are attached to result set eg Y10 term 1 or whatever. Is there a way round this? I don't see the point in preventing it. I assumed I could transfer them and it would retain the info like original input date and who the teacher was that entered it etc.
