W11 Rollout

Hi,

 

Is there a way I can force my Windows 10 machines that are compatible to Windows 11? Majority is now on W11, but I'm waiting for teachers to give me their laptop to upgrade so ideally I want to force it on the server so next time they turn it on, it starts installing.

 

Is this possible?

What are you using to manage your computers with?

If you have Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM) then you can force an upgrade out through that I believe.

WSUS wasn't set up on our server after we upgraded as it was suggested that it's best for the machines to get the updates directly from Microsoft/Updates. Our previous server has wsus set up but we found that everytime we turned on a computer it would re-install the update everytime.

 

I have managed to upgrade the laptops/computers manually.
