Dos_Box Posted July 11, 2022 Posted July 11, 2022 For those not aware (and with an Amazon Prime account), the Prime Day sale begins tomorrow. As per usual, if you see anything you like, or could recommend for others then please let us all know here and please, where possible, provide a link in this thread. You can also let members know what you are after so they can keep an eye out too, so please feel free to post up any items you may be needing. I'm after a new tv. They should, for last years models, be going for about £300 for one with Dolby Vision and circa 50" screen. My current one is a first gen 4k smart tv and it's age is showing after 6 years. It will be retired to a bedroom wall I think!

TIOAOA Posted July 12, 2022 Posted July 12, 2022 I'm after a new phone after my Huawei P20 drowned to death. The number of things on offer is huge - has anyone spotted a good phone deal yet ?

TIOAOA Posted July 12, 2022 Posted July 12, 2022 What's your budget? Don't really want to go over £300 but if the deal was good I might. 1
Ditto Posted July 12, 2022 Posted July 12, 2022 I expect I am in dream land, but any GPU's higher spec than a 1050Ti on offer would be of interest. Potentially, could be as part of a whole gaming machine.
JATSO Posted July 12, 2022 Posted July 12, 2022 Not seen a decent video editing capable 17" Laptop with 32GB Ram, minimum 1TB SSD, and the graphics to cope with Adobe Premier or Davinci Resolve without having to spend over £2k. If anyone spots anything that fits my wish of being under £1500 and better than the one below please let me know. At the moment I am looking at this: https://www.hp.com/gb-en/shop/product.aspx?id=64W26EA&opt=ABU&sel=NTB

Garacesh Posted July 12, 2022 Posted July 12, 2022 Don't really want to go over £300 but if the deal was good I might. Samsung Galaxy A53 5G for £296? I've upgraded to the 'mainline' series, using an S22+ at the moment, but my previous phone was an A-range and they're super - and they definitely don't skimp on the battery! Your main loss is in screen brightness and colour clarity, but I found I didn't notice it being a problem. Edit: Lol looks like @Dos_Box and I had similar ideas. 1

bald_pig Posted July 13, 2022 Posted July 13, 2022 Do they release new deals at regular intervals or do they all drop from day 1 for 48 hours ? All of the above! Some deals are 1 day, some are 2 day, and some are limited time drops, with new items every 5 minutes usually. 1
Garacesh Posted July 13, 2022 Posted July 13, 2022 (edited) Quite a lot of mattresses on Prime sale.. Taking recommendations My current one is a Nectar and I've only had it maybe 2 and a half years but it's gone proper saggy where I sleep. Thinking of going to hybrid instead of full foam, but no idea what's good or what isn't (Nectar were supposed to be good but I've found a lot of reviews with the same issues..)
