[bromcom] Annual reporting in BROMCOM

Good afternoon,

Our school are changing to BROMCOM in September after using SIMs. Is anyone able to tell me if its possible to do annual reporting in BROMCOM in a way that is similar to Profiles in SIMs?

Can you set up comment banks and have a word template to pull it all into?

 

I have a feeling that the 'Reporting' training video will be more about pulling various bits of data from the system rather than an annual report.

We have a word template where all of the information is pulled into and its a simple enough system to setup. You can have comment banks, although we don't use them they can be useful.

Yes you can build annual reports via a Web Merge in Assessment. The process and building comment banks is covered in the Assessment Training and in these guides ;

If you add a comment assessment type to the word document as described in these guides this will pull any comments inputted into the comment column in the marksheets.

That's helpful thank you, which roles and permissions do I need to be able to see this?

Currently, on our 'training' version I am unable to see the options on the 'Config' menu as per the instructions on the second link.

Within Config>Setup>Roles and Permissions, you can find the Comment Banks and Configuration permissions you need as per my screenshot.
