  1. Hello, Does anyone know how I could go about creating (or does it already exist?) a report that pulls out student class data from BROMCOM to put up on to ALPS or SISRA? There was a report definition that you could put into SIMs but I can't see one in BROMCOM. It needs to have things like the Students name, subject, set etc. along the top. I'm struggling to get my head around how to do reporting in BROMCOM! Thank you.
  2. Ok, that makes sense but how do I create a new subject? Pardon my ignorance but I've only been using BROMCOM for a few weeks so its all very new to me! Thank you
  3. Good afternoon, Is it possible to have inputted data in a BROMCOM appear across multiple marksheets? I would like to import the CAT scores for a year group once and then have them appear in every marksheet for that year. In SIMS this was possible by entering this data into a year group master sheet and then having the associated aspect in the various class sheets. I'm sure this must be possible in BROMCOM but I can't quite figure it out. Currently I can only get them to come through attached to the various subjects. Any help greatly appreciated.
  4. That's helpful thank you, which roles and permissions do I need to be able to see this? Currently, on our 'training' version I am unable to see the options on the 'Config' menu as per the instructions on the second link.
  5. Good afternoon, Our school are changing to BROMCOM in September after using SIMs. Is anyone able to tell me if its possible to do annual reporting in BROMCOM in a way that is similar to Profiles in SIMs? Can you set up comment banks and have a word template to pull it all into? I have a feeling that the 'Reporting' training video will be more about pulling various bits of data from the system rather than an annual report. Thanks in advance.
  6. Hovering didn't bring anything up but Ctrl + < or > is the one that worked for the Next/Previous buttons. Thank you!
  7. Good afternoon. I might well have imagined this but is there a shortcut in SIMs for the 'Next' and 'Previous' buttons (for going between marksheets, list entry reports and so on). I'm sure there is but I cant for the life of me remember what they are. Also, please feel free to share any other helpful SIMs shortcuts you might know! Thanks in advance!
  8. Good morning all, This relates to SIMs profiles (or annual reports as most people would call them!) Does anyone happen to know if it is possible to change the report period (the date window) for an active report session? We have recently had a Head of House change and the report window spans a date range where the old Head of House was still in the role. They have since left and the replacement H of H is unable to see/complete their section. Would changing the report period delete all the comments that have already been entered and would this solve the issue? Thanks in advance!
  9. Yeah, they appear fine on marksheets and such. I'll do it this way for now, but of a pain but at least they're there! I hope it gets sorted eventually though! Thank you all!
  10. The only filter is for the year group, the strange thing is, is that I can run the EXACT same report, put a tick in the 'Year 11' filter box and it throws up the numbers no problem! Its only with the Year 10 that its having this issue! We have used the same report for a few years and never had this issue before!
  11. I've tried changing the date. Still no luck, I can't seem to fathom why it is pulling through other years but not year 10?
  12. Yeah, I can see them if I go on the exam organiser module and click 'Focus -> Candidates -> Internal'. All their exam numbers are there. I can also see them on the student details page?
  13. Hi, I'm hoping someone on here can help! I am trying to run a report to upload to SISRA and one of the required fields is candidates exam numbers. Here is my issue: The exam numbers for the year 10s aren't being pulled through/extracted from SIMs. They all have exam numbers as I can see them on the individual students profiles. The strange thing is that if I run the exact same report for year 11, their exam numbers come through no problem at all! Is there something that has been left unclicked or something I'm missing here? Has anyone else had anything similar happen to them? Thanks!
